Position Description:
- Territory sales and management
- Ensures daily tasks are complete prior to end of shift
- Other tasks as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Territory sales growth and retention
- Marketing
- Managing and coordinating transactions within the given geographical region
- Customer relations and communication
- Calling on existing accounts, millwork suppliers, lumber yards, and retail stores
- Seeking and vetting potential accounts for the purpose of sales growth
- Reporting to Branch General Manager/Sales Manager
- Working with inside Customer Service Representatives to mitigate issues with transactions or actual materials
- Troubleshooting product issues and applications in the field
- Training customer associates on products and their applications.
- Training customer associates on the use of Dyke resources, pricing tools, order processes, and truck scheduling
- Product knowledge
- Maintaining product literature and resources in every account within the territory

Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Construction knowledge
- Communication skills
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet browser
- Power point and group sales presentations
- Public speaking
- Problem solving skills and attention to details
Job Type:
- Full-time
- Local travel with infrequent overnights
